Spencer is such a cute boy! Like most puppies, he loves to play, so will do best in a family with older, respectful children and/or other dogs that will help wear him out and won't be easily bowled over when he wants to play. 32 lb, 4-5 month old Spencer is food motivated and super smart, so he'll learn quickly. He's already figured out the doggy door in his foster home and hasn't had any accidents. This big-boy-to-be is also crate trained but of course doesn't like to be left for long periods because ... puppy! He's met a cat in a friend's home and did ok ... we think he could learn to live with a dog-savvy feline roommate with a proper introduction and close supervision. Just like all our puppies, Spencer is looking for a family with the time, resources and commitment to get him the exercise, ongoing training and guidance all puppies need to be great members of their new families.
