Stuart came into the San Jose shelter at the tender age of just a few days old. One of our amazing foster moms rushed down to get him and has been tending to him ever since. Stuart has grown into a fun, affectionate, playful, talkative, energetic, well-socialized little guy who loves to play out in the grass with his foster siblings but can also settle down for some Netflix with his mama. Because he was brought into care as a bottle baby he's used to being toted around to work and other adventures but he's A-ok being left alone as well. Stuart is doing well with potty training but will of course need to continue learning. He's good in the crate and uses pee pads when needed, or will potty outside when he's let out in time. He can allllmost hold it all night. This little guy is all puppy so he can be a bit mouthy, but he's good with kids and just needs to be redirected like all boys his age do. Stuart was raised with other dogs, both big and small, as well as cats, and he loves 'em all. We don't know his breed for sure but we're guessing he's a Chiweenie based on the shape of his ears and tiny head, and his super short legs.
