Delilah came into the shelter pregnant but she was so sick herself that she was unable to care for her puppies when they were born. Delilah was fighting for her own life and didn't have the milk or stored nutrition to care for her pups properly. Unfortunately none of them made it. Now Delilah is thriving in her foster home where she is getting the love and nutrition she needs to gain the strength needed to recover from months of neglect. Delilah had become a loving lap companion that would love to be treated like the princess she is and be carried in a fashionable dog purse so she can accompany you wherever you go. Delilah is a bit "protective" over her person's lap but can easily be corrected. She lives with multiple other dogs and does just fine but her true love is her chosen person!
