Cairo came to us when we were asked by his family to take him in because they could no longer care for him. Cairo is initially shy but warms up quite quickly and becomes a little velcro dog following you around the house. He is currently fostered with another dog smaller than him and he does great. He gets along with dogs of all sizes. At first he didn't play but now we are starting to see the playful side of Cairo as he tries to engage his foster sister into a little playtime. Usually he can be found snuggling up to his foster mom or dad when its time for some TV watching or computer work. He is medium energy so would do well with a nice long walk in the morning and night. He could go to doggie daycare but would probably be fine with a dog walker that came in mid day to take him for a walk so he can do his business. Cairo could easily go to work with mom or dad if they are able to bring him. He would love to accompany you to all the dog friendly establishments in your neighborhood as well. At about 22 pounds he's a little to big to fly on an airplane with you but if you like a nice long hike on the weekends this guy can keep up. He has a non shedding coat that will require regular visits to the groomer.
