Dahlia is about 10 weeks and is ready to find her forever home. She found herself in the shelter at two days old with her sister Tulip and mommy Rose. We were asked to come get this awesome family because the shelter is a dangerous place for a puppy when its so young. These two sisters have been socialized with other dogs and a few kids. They are happy go lucky pups that love to play hard then snuggle with their people then repeat. Applicants should be ready for puppy antics and training. These guys will need a lot of mental and physical stimulation to keep them out of trouble. They are good puppies but still believe everything is meant to be a chew toy. That will include your shoes and possibly table legs so adopters should be prepared to have lots of puppy teething toys. These guys are crate trained and have started with potty training in their foster homes but will need continued work in both areas. Their mom is about 8 pounds so we suspect these guys to be around 10 pounds full grown. Once they have all their puppy vaccines at approx 16 weeks they will be able to go to all the dog friendly establishments with you. They could be your carry on on the airplane so they can travel the country with you if you so desire. They can easily join another dog in the home. Because of their small size we will not be placing them with children under 6-7 years old. They are just so small and can be easily injured.
