Oreo is about 18 months old and weighs 13 pounds. She came into the rescue as an owner surrender. Her ears and skin were severely infected. This poor baby itched so badly that she had open/oozing areas allover her body. It took us 2 months to nurse her back to health but with a good grain free diet and medicated baths she now has a beautiful, itch free coat. She will require a family that is dedicated to keeping her on a high quality/grain free kibble and giving her medicated baths every couple weeks but otherwise this gal is perfect. Oreo is small enough to be your carry on on the airplane, she can easily go to the office with mom or dad or hang at home when her people are at work with a dog walker to come check on her mid day. Oreo currently lives with teenage kids that she adores and a cat that she "co exists" with. She could easily join another dog in the home but can also be an only if you have no other dogs. She is low to medium energy so will require a nice long daily walk but then she will be all about snuggle time on the couch. Oreo could easily live in an apartment and would be a good option for the first time dog owner. Oreo is potty trained and crate trained. She walks well on a leash. She has a non shedding coat that will require regular growing every 6 weeks.
