Meet Douille (pronounced "dewey"), the Sausage King of San Jose. That’s short for Andouille, because he was a quite porky when he came into rescue...he weighed a whopping 10.4 pounds! Now he’s a (nearly) svelte 7 pounds and ready for adoption. Douille is a 3 year old male Chihuahua. He's neutered, chipped, and up to date on all his shots. He'll need a family that can help him stay the course with his nutrition and exercise so that he maintains a healthy weight. Douille is super friendly, cuddly, sweet, and just the best. He absolutely LOVES dogs of any and all sizes. He's a social little critter and would very much like to find a forever home where he'll have a canine sibling to bond with. He also loves people, even kids.In short, he's really quite the social butterfly who never meets a stranger. He adores snuggling and likes to nuzzle his face into your neck when being carried. He's the happiest little guy around and if you give him five seconds, he'll win you over with his amazing personality. Douille's got a heart as big as his former waistline!
