Duke is one of the best dogs we have ever had in the rescue. At about 10 months he is full of energy and love. There is not a dog or person that Duke does not get along with. He currently lives with another young, high energy dog and does wonderfully. He would prefer to live with another playful dog so he doesn't get bored. Duke is the dog that can go anywhere with his family. He would love to go hiking, biking, or running with his family. Duke could easily go to a doggie day camp while his people are at work. He can accompany you to all the doggie friendly establishments in your neighborhood and has proven that he would love to hang out at the beach and run in and out of the waves chasing after his ball. if you are looking for a well behaved, athletic dog Duke may be your boy. We will be looking for an active home that has a yard for Duke to run and play in. Although he is about 10 months old he still has some of the puppy behaviors like chewing on shoes, computer cords and clothing if it is left where he can get to it. Duke is crate trained and is well on his way to being house trained.
