Stevie was found at the Gilroy outlet mall. He had noticeably suffered some sort of eye injury and was in a great deal of pain. He was brought to the shelter where injury to his right eye was found to be so severe he had to have the eye removed. His left eye is completely blind from some sort of trauma as well. Im sure you just let out an......aw poor dog! Well yes he was in a lot of pain but that is no longer and he is just like any other dog. Well OK he bumps into a few things when he is first acclimating to a new home but now in his foster home for the past two weeks he is able to navigate out to the backyard to do his business, he doesn't miss a stair and he snuggles with all of his foster siblings just like any other. He actually snuggles better than any of them. If you are looking for a low energy dog that loves to snuggle and wants to sleep with you and be your shadow Stevie may be your guy. Don't let his visual impairment scare you, he wants nothing more than a lap to snuggle on and a person to love.
