Zoey is all Golden/Lab. She loves everything and everyone she meets. She has no Stranger Danger when it comes to people. Zoey wants to be friends with everyone. We were asked to take Zoey into the rescue when her family realized a large breed puppy was a little more work than they anticipated. She was very loved by her previous family and was impeccably cared for and the excision to re home her was not made lightly. Zoey lived with cats and an 10 month old baby in her previous home. She now lives with two teenagers which she adores and has even managed to talk one of them into sharing her bed with her.
Zoey is going to be a big girl and she requires more than just a walk around the neighborhood. If you are not a runner, hiker, biker Zoey is not the dog for you. Many people will fall in love with her beauty and the thought of having a Golden/Lab but her beauty won't help when she eats your shoes, digs holes in the garden or chews the wooden deck because she is bored. Zoey is a perfect little girl with the best personality but will become a bad girl if she is left to entertain herself everyday. She deserves a home that wants to take her to see the world. Zoey could easily go to work with mom or dad after she has some formal training and grows out of her puppies a little. She definitely can go to dog friendly establishments. We actually recommend it so she can continue to socialize and grow to be the great dog we know she will be.
