Meet Stanley! This 11 pound senior Papillon mix was found as a stray. Before we picked him up from the Santa Clara County shelter many of his teeth needed to be pulled but he doesn’t mind as it now means he gets wet food!

Stanley enjoys being his foster mom’s shadow, whether that’s laying at her feet while she’s cooking dinner or "supervising" while she works from home.

He is blind in one eye, so he leans on his person to help understand his surroundings. He bumps into stuff every once in a while, but shakes it off and keeps on going! On walks he navigates curbs with ease, he’ll just need some help with the stairs and getting up onto the couch. If you'd like to go for a hike, Stanley enjoys riding in a doggie backpack!

Stanley rides well in the car, is potty trained, and is totally comfortable with cats. He’s looking for a relaxed home where he gets lots of tasty treats and has his choice of a variety of dog beds around the house. If you’re interested in meeting Stanley, please submit an adoption application!
