Great Pyrenees : : Male (neutered)
The power of a dog lover, animal rescuers and amazing network of people never ceases to amaze us! When an emaciated dog was found in an area well known as a “dump” station for unwanted dogs she didn’t know she had just been found by a true dog loving Angel. Once “Debbie” was secured and in her saviors care it was noted she looked like she was a actively lactating and probably had babies near by. Volunteers searched the area…..Hours led to days but no pups were found. Debbie was so skinny so recent birthing was assumed until 6 days in her foster home she gave birth to 10 healthy puppies! Fast forward 8 weeks and we have 10 healthy puppies ready for their forever homes! These are most likely full bred Great Pyrenees pups so homes with breed experience will be desired. Mom shows a high desire to be a “working” dog and has already found her happily ever after where she has goats, cows, chickens and other livestock LGD’s to round out her happily ever after. These puppies have had amazing socialization with people and other dogs and are now experiencing other working dogs and livestock to see how they do. They have proven that they do want space to safely run and will do well around all barn animals. Currently around goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, cats and other dogs these furry fluff balls also want the snuggling and love from their humans so will need a balance of all! We will be looking for homes with breed specific experience because let’s face it….. there really is nothing cuter that these cotton ball, fluffy pups! Everyone will fall in love with their puppy breath, soft puppy fur and 20 pound bodies but not many will be right for a pooch that is constantly shedding, desires to be outside in the cold more than in the $200 dog bed you bought and will be upwards of 100 pounds. If you would like to be considered for one of these beauties please send us an application asap. We don’t expect the application process to be open very long for these babies so don’t hesitate as we cannot accept apps once the applications are closed.
